One song a day: Jacuzzi Boys - Smells dead
I went to their gig at Bakken in Copenhagen. It was great. Later the singer asked me if his jacket was in the cloakroom. I said I didn't know.

Vermicelli di riso con 'pico de gallo'
A cold and spicy tomatoe sauce (mix peeled&chopped tomatoes from a can with fresh coriander, chopped onion, chopped cucumber, lime juice, pepper, salt, chili) poured over rice vermicelli. Yumm!
Pico de gallo is also my favourite ingredients (after avocados!) for tortilla wraps or tacos.

Left Overs
Today I had a very quick and easy to cook dinner: left over Gyoza filling with rice vermicelli. What you need to do is put the filling in a pan and fry until cooked. In the meantime put rice vermicelli into a bowl and add hot water, drain after two minutes and add noodles to the filling. Fry for as long as you like, then put it on a plate and garnish with fresh coriander. Et voilĂ !
One Song A Day: We Have Band - Divisive
I went to one of their gigs on Monday and had a great night full of dancing :)

Gyoza/Jiaozi
To celebrate International Women's Day I made some homemade dumplings today. In Japan they're called 'Gyoza', in China, the country of their origin 'Jiaozi'. They're best when you first cook them in water and then fry them in a pan.
Here's a good video that teaches you the 'folding technique'. But as a beginner you can fold them however you like to make it a bit easier and buy readymade dough skins.
I stuffed mine with minced pork, chinese cabbage, onions, garlic, soy sauce, sesame oil (in fact I only used rape seed oil and added a few sesame seeds) and coriander. The sauce consisted of soy sauce, vinegar, fresh coriander and garlic. Delicious!

One Song A Day
As I love music and discovering new and old songs so much, I decided there should be a new category on my blog. It's called 'One Song A Day' and as you can probably guess from the title I will post one song each day.
In fact, sometimes I do listen to a single song for a whole day. There are songs I can just put on repeat for hours. Here you will find some of these songs.
I hope you like them too :)
The first song is a classic: Sonic Youth - Superstar
Candy Colours
This Spring my wardrobe will probably be all about pastel candy colours. I've always loved colours like mint green, antique pink or nude shades. Combined with delicate fabrics like chiffon or silk they make the perfect match! A bit of lace here and there, some colour blocking and carefully selected accessories will round out my outfits. I cannot wait till I've finished my bachelor thesis and finally have time to go shopping!
I'm going on a trip to Berlin soon and I'm sure I'll do some successfull shopping over there :)

Am I a writer?
I'm gonna write a book about my life. And I will name it 'How I ended up in Vienna' or 'How I survived all that shit'. It will contain things I've experienced or learned, lessons I want to share with other people, advice on what mistakes to avoid and some random, funny stories...the cover will probably contain this picture:
Just wanted you all to know. Release date tba.

My 'Christmas Jumper'
Another Vintage piece for the red section...I wore it on Christmas as its colour and shiny details reminded me of baubles. Plus it's so comfy :)
