This is the name of a (music) show on arte (french-german tv channel). I don't usually watch tv but I'm visiting my family atm and there's this big tv forcing me to watch all that C.S.I crap and stuff but arte actually gave me a few earworms today. I love these songs so much:
I went shopping yesterday and spotted two items that reminded me instantly of The Kooples' style. This (reduced!) dress and a vest at H&M. I got the dressbut still have to get the vest in another store because they didn't have my size. I was planning on doing a nice walk into the first district but it just started raining :(
I will make myself a delicious tuna wrap instead now and hope the rain will be over when I've finished eating.
Bad quality video but nice introduction of two great bands (Egyptian Hip Hop and Slow Club) ! I especially like the explanation of egyptian hip hop's name *lol* Rich Fulcher is great too. :)
I recently bought this earcuff by Anni Jürgenson. Actually I wanted to make my own earcuff but I couldn't get the right material and I really wanted to have one, so I just bought the original. It arrived very fast and it looks great bought after wearing it a few times the colour lightly faded...but it's not too bad and looks a bit vintage now ;)
If you haven't checked it out yet, do it now! Asos Marketplace is a platform for independent designers or retailers offering a lot of great stuff to purchase online. It's like browsing through Brick Lane Market, dicovering beautiful vintage garments, chiffon dresses, delicate blouses and individual accessories.
Do you know 'Made in Chelsea'? It's E4's new reality drama series about rich young people from Chelsea/London and I love it! One of my favourite characters is Rosie. She's got a great sense of style and beautiful long hair.
She also looks amazing in The Kooples lace shirt and satin shorts:
I bought three items from Vila last week: A white laddered knit cardigan, a rosè going out dress and a black satin blazer jaket. ( Not at the online store though)
I will do an outfit post soon!
Today I discovered this shop and I really like their styles, maybe I'll order something next month (I'm a bit broke atm -.-) or use it as an inspiration for summer. I'm planning to sew quite a few items when I'm off uni from July- October)....I hope I'll stick to my plans...usually I never do :P
Yes, it's another shoe post and this time the objects of desire are 'Made in Spain'. Kmb, a brand I recently discovered on zalando.com offers a variety of real leather shoes for OK prices (even better if they're on sale!)and I'd like to introduce you to my favourites:
I'm afraid my heart might stop loving. stop beating. stop living.
through forests I wander. through streets I creep.
till the hummingbird falls from the shivering sky.
drifting and drowning. in an ocean wider than my tears.
fear is not a power.
I was browsing through Miss Selfridge's online-shop the other day and fell in love with these shoes...I think they're very feminine and delicate even with the wedge heel. Pastel and nude colours are my favourite colours for summer, so why not combine a flattery floral dress with a pair of these lovely darlings!
The last ones are still available in my size but I can't afford shoes atm anyway :(
I've been listening to a lot of music today, sitting on the desk in front of my wide opened bay windows, enjoying the fresh air and looking at the blue sky. I love days like these. Tomorrow I'm going to enjoy the sunshine outside though ;)
I'd like to show you all the good music I've been listening to but as it would make this post far too long I'll just introduce you to two beautiful songs involving a dreamgirl topic.
The first one is "Dreams come true girl" by Cass Mc Combs and Karen Black. I especially love the part when she is singing. Her dusty voice is amazing.
The second one is "My dreamgirl don't exist" by Neutral Milk Hotel. I really love their music at the moment. The song is actually sad, like most of their songs but still very beautiful.
This is just another ordinary fashion blog. I want to introduce you to garments I adore or wear, blogs/articles/books I read and music I like to listen to.
